Emotional Intelligence: A Model to Solve Workplace Problems

A meta-analysis published last year suggests that there is a decline in younger generations in three main components of emotional intelligence (EI): Emotional empathy, managing one’s own disruptive emotions and an overall sense of well-being and positive feelings. But the good news is that EI is learned and learnable. Emotional intelligence training in education settings and/or the workplace can reinforce these skills.
